Let me turn your top into a finished quilt.

I started machine quilting in 1999, because I had a very large top to be quilted. I was hand quilting at the time and a friend told me if I wanted to get it done I needed to learn to machine quilt. So I did, on a home sewing machine! Well I don’t need to tell you That is no fun! So off I went to a quilt show and purchased a longarm machine. I did have to convince my husband that this was a good idea first.

I own a Gammill machine and enjoy very much turning tops into beautiful quilts. My very favorite is Custom quilting. This is when I take the quilt top, look at it as if I was going to hand quilt it and then I find just the right design to quilt on it. The design is then enlarged or made smaller to fit the area I am going to quilt.

See my Photo Gallery to see close-up’s of customer quilts I have done. Most of my customers just give me the quilt top and tell me to quilt it as I wish. So if you have no idea what to quilt on it I will help you figure this out.

I learnt how to piece in 1980 and have been involved in quilts ever since. Teaching, working in a quilt shop for 10 years and starting a local quilt guild have been a few of the ways I have been involved in this wonderful craft.

So please check out the rest of my site and contact me by phone or email with any questions you may have. Then we can set up a time to meet and go over your quilt. If you are shipping I will discuss your quilt over the phone.
